For the past three weeks, I have been extremely busy with the Clack Museum and Wahkpa Chu'gn Buffalo Jump. In case you haven't heard, I was hired on March 20, 2018 to manage both the Clack Museum and Buffalo Jump. I was the manager of the museum from 2002-2004, and guided tours of the Buffalo Jump in 1997 and 2004. While not a stranger to either site, it is the first time managing both sites. I've spent most of my time the past three weeks at the Buffalo Jump, as the regular guides are still at other jobs, but they'll be coming on soon!
Going down into the site and back up is a real workout! I'm getting great exercise and I feel better. My legs haven't felt this great in years.
So, between the museum and buffalo jump and my house museum, strolls and headstones tours, I have been quite busy. I will start catching up soon, starting with the missing Celebrating History columns.
